Reward Policy
How discretionary rewards are determined and paid.
Principles
Rewards are discretionary and depend on validation tier, impact, available funds, and compliance checks. There is no legal entitlement to a reward.
Eligibility
A report must be validated (minor, medium, or major) and linked to an available Country Fund or the Global Fund. Anonymous reporters can be eligible but must reveal their identity before payout.
Calculation
Base amounts are set by fund managers with indicative multipliers: minor x1, medium x3, major x10. Caps per case and annual country budgets apply to protect the fund.
Funding sources
Country Funds are used first, with the Global Fund topping up when needed. Case-specific donations are earmarked accordingly.
Claims and verification
Eligible reporters receive a secure claim form to choose payout method (IBAN/SEPA, digital wallet, or other). Identity and compliance checks happen before any manual payout is recorded.
Taxes and limits
Rewards may be taxable; recipients are responsible for declarations. Payouts are executed manually outside Stripe and recorded for audit purposes.
